Tenth S. N. Banerjee Memorial Lecture and Medal Award Ceremony
The Tenth S. N. Banerjee Memorial Lecture and Medal Award Ceremony was conducted on Wednesday the 14th of January, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Lecture Room, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata.
Dr. Roma Chakraverty, Retired Scientist, Bose Institute, Kolkata, agreed to deliver a Lecture on Fungi in Agricultural Environment.
First Dr. T. S. Sadasivan Memorial Lecture
The First Dr. T. S. Sadasivan Memorial Lecture to be held on Tuesday the 6th of January, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. in the Lecture Room, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata.
Dr. Partha Banerjee, Empire State College, New York, U.S.A., agreed to deliver a Lecture on Scope on Biology Research in 21st Century.
Eighth E.J. Butler Memorial Lecture
The Eighth E.J. Butler Memorial Lecture was held on Friday, 19th December, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. in the Lecture Room, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata 700 019.
Professor Arun K Chaterjee, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Misouri, Columbia, Missouri, USA agreed to deliver the lecture on Manipulation of the quorum sensing signaling system in the management of the soft-rotting disease.
The 9th Dr. S. N. Banerjee Memorial Lecture
The 9th Dr. S. N. Banerjee Memorial Lecture was delivered by Dr. Asha Lata Chandra, Former Professor and Head, Department of Microbiology, Bose Institute, Kolkata on Exploring Streptomycetes
The Lecture was held in the Lecture Room, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, Kolkata on Monday, 14th January, 2008 at 3:00 P.M.
