Membership Information

Mycologists, fungal biologists, plant pathologists and all persons with a personal or professional interest in fungi research are cordially invited to apply for membership in the Indian Mycological Society.

Membership in the IMS provides an opportunity to stay current with new research via the Society's journal, Journal of Mycopathological Research, and also to learn about and participate in meetings, symposia, excursions and other activities organized by the Society.

The Society comprises of members belonging to one of the following four categories:

Membership Fees

The Annual Membership fees is Rs. 200.00 for domestic applicants or US$ 40.00 for foreign applicants. Life Membership charges are Rs. 2000.00 and US$ 500.00 for the same membership categories respectively.

The registration fees in either case is Rs. 50.00 or US $ 12.00.

Membership Application Procedure

Please request a membership form from the Secretary of the Society, Dr. A. K. Manna, and then send us a Demand Draft/Cheque drawn in favor of Indian Mycological Society, payable in Kolkata.
